Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Mantra: Journal of Management, Accounting, Taxation and Entrepreneurship undergo a peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

The review process begins with an initial editorial screening to assess whether the manuscript meets the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and author guidelines. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are forwarded to independent reviewers for further evaluation.

Mantra applies a double-blind peer-review system in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two reviewers who assess originality, methodological rigor, theoretical contribution, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the journal’s focus.

Based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations, the editorial decision may be:

  1. Accepted without revision
  2. Accepted with minor revision
  3. Accepted with major revision
  4. Rejected

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ comments within the specified timeframe. The final publication decision is made by the editor based on reviewer recommendations and editorial consideration.
